Can any of you Mid-Atlantic folks ID this building? We were all singularly disturbed by it as it loomed behind the trees lining the highway, so I photographed it and determined to find out why it was there. I took this right before we passed the exit for Chevy Chase, MD, so that should give you a general idea of it's location. After we went a bit further down the road and around a bend I was able to see that it had several more golden spires on the other side, seven or eight in total. I don't know why, but it really freaked me out. Very imposing piece of Art Deco, Metropolis-esque architecture. I assume it's some kind of church, but for some reason that makes it even scarier...

So, any ideas? What is is?!

We're flying to London tomorrow , so much to do!!

TOUCH A TRUCK! Once a year, the city of Eugene gathers together all sorts of big trucks and invites families to come out and let the kids climb all over (and inside) them. It is one of the highlights of the year for our family (and when you take the price (free!) into consideration, it might be the best event of the whole year). The boys had SO much fun.

Work Done:

lip carve, freckles added, lips glossed to natural, new eyeshadow on lids and around eyes, new chips (pink, clear and mustard), new pink pull ring and cord, sleep eyes given, eyelashes removed, sand matted and sealed with MSC, dyed hair (deep cyan blue/green). All work doen by frankieDARLING.

Only issues is that her pull ring isn't working at the moment and her eyes need to be changed manually. This can be fixed easy, just haven't opened her up yet since I got her home. Also, she has light staining on her right and left sides of her head due to the dyed hair, it can too probably be removed as well.
